Kristbjörg is responsible for driving branch efficiency and transformation projects across the capital area for Arion Bank. Reporting into the MD of Retail Banking, Kristbjörg oversees a team of 90 in-branch advisors with 7 management lines reporting into her. She is currently spearheading a new program to change culture and mind-sets in a constantly evolving environment. The purpose of this is to enable advisors to support customers with digital adoption and to bridge the digital and physical divide. During her time at the bank, she has overseen the implementation of two new digital branches with remote staff, and three larger full-service branches.
