Klaas is responsible for the branch network of ABN AMRO Personal Banking. He is currently spearheading a new ‘self- organisation’ initiative at the bank. This ground-breaking new organisational structure aims to remove management layers and to foster agile and entrepreneurial mind-set. This project has already reduced management by 90%, and 80% of employees feel engaged. Klaas’ team are also deploying the ‘Connect Me’ platform which ensure that expertise is available to customers in real-time, through their video banking channel.
